Keeping active will improve your physical health but also help look after your mental health as well.

The NHS website cites “Being Physically Active” as one of the best ways in lockdown to improve your self-esteem and positively change your mood.

Gyms might be temporarily closed but going for walks or jogs in nature is still very much an option. There’s also all sorts of fitness resources online!

You can check out our very own Medway Molly’s Fitness videos on our Youtube to practice alongside from the comfort of your own home: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6A539KyW00

If there is a class you would like to see, get in touch with us at [email protected]

Remember, while exercise can help to improve your mood, if you are struggling with your mental health, please consult a doctor or the university wellbeing teams.
