We are excited to make students feel welcomed to Medway this January!

Those who are coming back after a winter break, we hope you feel refreshed and ready to hit term two running.

Those who are entirely new to us, we would like to introduce ourselves as your Students’ Union. We provide support and activities to Greenwich and Kent students studying at Medway and are here to make sure you have the best possible university experience.

There’s so much more to do at Medway than study. Here are 5 steps to settle in (or settle back in) this January.

  1. Whether you are working from home or physically returned to campus, check out our What’s On to keep up to date on activities you can take part in to help banish the winter blues.

  1. All students have access to our free impartial Advice Centre to offer financial, housing, and academic support. This year has caused a lot of upheaval so if you have any questions, you can contact them here.

  1. Look after your wellbeing. Both Greenwich’s Wellbeing Hub and Kent’s Wellbeing Page provide resources to empower you to look after your mental wellbeing with links to Counselling Services, Self-help Resources, and ways to stay connected.

  1. The Deep End is not open to students quite yet. We are almost ready to welcome you back when the Student Hub has finished helping out as a testing centre. Meanwhile, there’s plenty of other places to eat or grab a coffee on campus. Check out our Explore and Eat page.

  1. Uni is all about discovering yourself, unearthing new talents and making memories that last a lifetime. Start your journey by attending our Virtual Welcome Back Fair to meet future friends in student groups. Sign up here:
